The Indians pulled off a come-from-behind win in overtime against the previously undefeated Shelley Russets on Saturday in Preston. The overtime wasn’t the most impressive part though. It was the few minutes leading up to it.
Preston started off a bit slow and ended the first quarter with a 20-13 deficit. The second quarter wasn’t much better in terms of scoring, but the defense did a great job holding Shelley to just eight points. Trailing 28-22 at the half the Indians were still in the game.
