The District Health Department in Preston is now giving flu shots by appointment and the price for the vaccine has been reduced from $26 to $12.
The price reduction was made to encourage the public to get their flu vaccine, according to nurse Jackie Bowles, who added they have an adequate supply and it’s not too late to get vaccinated. (See the full story in The Preston Citizen.)
