Preston’s Ryan Wakely and another Indian challenge West Side’s Jaxon Smart as he goes up for a basket in the cross-county rivalry.
While it wasn’t the nail-biter of last year, the Preston/West Side match up on Friday, Dec. 2, was a positive experience for the Indians.
Preston ran away with the game in the second quarter, notching their first victory of the season at 58-39.
“We definitely needed a win after our first two games this season,” Preston head coach Tyler Jones said. “It was good to finish a game out and get a win.” (See the full story in The Preston Citizen.)
