A Dec. 7 deadline is fast approaching for Franklin County residents who have been covered by Medicare Advantage plans to transfer to Medicare Supplement plans.
By a week from Wednesday, people affected need to have signed up at least for prescription coverage. They then have until about year’s end, or probably Thursday, Dec. 29, or Friday, Dec. 30, to make arrangements on a Medicare Supplement, an area insurance agent emphasized.
