WESTON – Mayor Camille Larsen isn’t alone in her frustrations and concerns about the proposed Cache County, Utah, landfill that is looking more like it could be built – within three miles of Weston’s springs that help provide the community with water.
Following last week’s Cache County Council rezone of land for a new landfill, she noted that the site is “three miles uphill from the springs.” She said at this early stage she’s hopeful necessary precautions will be taken. (See the full story in The Preston Citizen.)
