West Side’s Tyler White carries for a good gain against Glenns Ferry in the opening round of the state 2A playoffs.
DAYTON – During the game against Glenns Ferry the Pirates showed they are worthy of going into the playoffs with an 8-1 record. They had a hard time getting started, but held their ground very well as they gained a lead against the Pilots.
The score in the first quarter was 8-0 for the Pirates. They came out pretty strong and got the lead. But the second quarter was when they fell short. (See the full story in The Preston Citizen.)
