Both Preston Police Chief Val Sparrow and Franklin County Sheriff Don Beckstead said law enforcement will be out and about on Halloween, patrolling communities on Monday, Oct. 31, to ensure the safety of children.
Halloween this year falls on Monday. “The biggest thing we want to concentrate on is the safety of children who may be out trick-or-treating,” said Beckstead. “I am advising parents to accompany children.” (See the full story in The Preston Citizen.)
