A friend of mine once gave to me
A most delightful recipe.
Each time it’s used, I feel I spend
a precious moment with that friend.
Back in 1998 the Preston 4th Ward Relief Society took on an ambitious project, a ward cookbook. Walt Ross, former owner of The Preston Citizen, was a staunch member of the 4th Ward and offered the services of his employees to type the recipes and to publish the book.
The Resources section at the back of the book has hints and ideas for special occasions.
Once these books are gone, they are gone. This week, Oct. 19-25, “The New 4th Ward Recipe Book” sells for the special price of $11.95, regularly $14.95.
