The Preston girls soccer team improved to 8-3 with a successful showing against Marsh Valley on Saturday in Arimo. The wind gave both teams difficulty and contributed to the equalizing score by Marsh Valley soon after the break.
Adjusting to working against the wind took some time, but Preston started putting together some nice passes and threatening the opposing goal near the end of the game and it paid off. Preston got a 2-1 victory. (See the full story in The Preston Citizen.)
