Over the weekend Preston participated in a tri-meet West Side with Marsh Valley. The Indians lost in two to Marsh Valley (19-25, 22-25) and to West Side (12-25, 11-25).

It wasn’t their best showing and disappointing after doing so well against Logan. Coach Kristy Chatterley is hoping for a better outcome against Pocatello on Tuesday.

“Pocatello is better than they have been but we can beat them. Especially if we play like we did against Logan.”

On Sept. 15 the Indians lost in three to 5A Highland in Pocatello.

“We honestly probably had 20 overpasses in all three games and every time it happened my setter was in the back row, so she couldn’t jump,” said Chatterley.

Preston defeated visiting Logan in three on Sept. 13. The win was a great confidence builder and preview of what this team can do when they come together.

The Indians played their first district game at home against Pocatello on Tuesday (score not available at press time).
