The Preston Indian Cross Country teams took on some tough competition at the Tiger-Grizz Invitational in Idaho Falls on Friday, Sept. 9, and outran a majority of it.
In the larger school division, the girls team placed third with 102 points; Hillcrest came in first with 61 points.
The boys team placed fifth in this division with 135 points; Highland came in first with 69 points.
Coach Tyler Jones said, “in a meet with competition of this caliber, I’m encouraged by how well our teams ran. We need to keep working hard, and good things will come.”
Preston’s next meet, the Century Invitational, is this Friday at Ross Park in Pocatello.
