It was a story of too many missed opportunities and too many mistakes for the Preston Indians Friday night in the opening game of the 2011 season against the Bear River Bears in Tremonton.
However, the Tribe fought back from a two-touchdown deficit in the second half and made a game out of it. The outcome of the 43-35 loss came down to the last play of the game.
“It was a game of should haves and could haves,” said head coach Shawn Marlow. “Offensively we had too many turnovers to win a game and defensively we have to carry out our individual responsibilities so we can shut teams down more. (See the full story in The Preston Citizen.)
