Preston High School has changed it’s cellphone policy this year said Jeff Lords, the principal at the high school.
“Technology can be a great thing for education,” Lords said. “I think it is only a matter of time before students are using Smart phones in classes on a daily basis. Cellphones can be a great tool for education.”
District officials do have some concerns that come up with students using cellphones at school.
Lords said students are now allowed to use their phones between classes and during lunch on campus.
