The Franklin County Search and Rescue is hosting its annual motorcycle fun run on Saturday, Aug. 30.
Brandon Smith, Search and Rescue commander, is helping plan the event this year. He said registration is at the Fackrell Pavilion, 250 N. State, in the Preston City Park, on Aug. 30 at 8 a.m.
“Riders will leave at 9 a.m. sharp. We will go to Soda Springs for a quick stop and then ride on to Afton, Wyo. There we will stop again for a stretch and proceed to Montpelier for a short break. We will end the ride at the Mink Creek Park for a Dutch-oven dinner with all the trimmings at approximately 1:30 p.m.,” he said.
All proceeds go to help the Search and Rescue.
Smith said those interested could call 208- 852-4075 to pre-register.
