The City of Fun Carnival will be on hand to add to the rodeo atmosphere. Thursday night is Family Night and one ticket will get a person on one ride. Tickets are $1.50 per ticket, and every ride is one ticket on Family Night. Ten tickets will cost $12 and $20 will pay for 20 tickets.
On the two other nights it takes multiple tickets for most rides.
There are a few changes in “That Famous Preston Night Rodeo.” Doug Webb, a member of the rodeo committee, said tickets sales were up from last year at this time.
They would like to remind those attending the rodeo about the shuttles that will transport people every 15 minutes from the parking lot behind Kings and the county building to the fair grounds. They have worked out a deal with the West Side School District for buses and drivers to transport people to the rodeo and carnival.
“The rodeo arena seats are numbered this year and each ticket sold will have a corresponding number,” Webb said.
