A motorcycle/car crash Wednesday evening sent one Dayton resident to the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle injury crash on Highway 36 Milepost 130, just west of Preston.

Carl Bingham, 86, of Weston, was driving a Toyota Avalon on the highway and attempted to turn left onto Frew Hill Road. Keith Uigaese, 29, Dayton, was traveling eastbound on the highway on a Honda motorcycle.

Bingham collided with Uigaese, according to Idaho State Police.

Officials said all lanes of travel were blocked for approximately one hour for the investigation of the crash.

Uigaese was transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. Bingham was wearing his seatbelt. Uigaese was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.

The crash is still under investigation at this time.
