The annual Preston Rotary Fireworks Spectacular will be held Friday, July 25, at the rodeo arena in Preston. This year’s theme is “Pioneering the Future.”
“The actual show itself will be much bigger than last year. We are trying for bigger,” said Val Porter club president. “We are trying something new with the ground displays, trying to get some of them to move,” he said.
Pre-fireworks show entertainment will begin at 7:30 p.m. The entertainment will include several groups and individuals from the valley.
“We are hoping to have different entertainment this year,” the newly elected president of the organization said. “We will be mixing things up a little. It will be different from last year.”
“The Rotary Club will be operating their concession booth before the show again this year,” Porter said and will also serve hamburgers, hot dogs, candy, drinks and even glow sticks.
Aerial and ground display fireworks will start at 10 p.m. The narration is by Todd Carlson and music will be simulcast on KACH.
