Franklin County Medical Center recently honored Abbey Olsen and Kelli Ann Alvey for their years of service in the FCMC Junior Volunteer program.
Both young ladies were awarded a $150 scholarship to help them on their way to achieving college degrees.
Alvey served as president and Olsen was the vice president of the group.
Both girls have proved to be great assets to the program as they have donated many hours of service, have shown growth and increased leadership skills.
Alvey and Olsen have been serving in the program since they were 14.
Junior volunteers serve from the age of 14 to 18.
“The hospital gives out scholarships only to those who have shown interest in the facility and have put in many continuous hours of service, said director of volunteer services Tracie Jensen.
