Preston’s FFA Chapter returned from a state competition in Moscow with a second- and two third-place trophies in various events.
Some 17 FFA members and two advisors from the Chapter attended a week-long career development event at the University of Idaho campus. Preston competed against other high schools in livestock, dairy cattle, food science, ag mechanics, dairy foods and ag communication events.
The dairy foods team finished second high in the state. Emmy Sadler placed third-high individual, according to advisor Larrin Crossley.
“The food science and ag communications teams both placed third. The ag mechanics team placed sixth,” said Crossley.
