Preston High School students are tuning their instruments and practicing their scales for the upcoming annual Bennett Cup competition to be held Wednesday, April 8 and 9, at Preston High School auditorium.
The public is encouraged to come and enjoy some of the most talented students PHS can put on stage. There is no charge to see and hear the entertainment. The program will begin at 7 p.m. both nights. The piano and instrumental program will be on Wednesday evening with the vocal and string program Thursday evening.
The students will be competing for various categories in hopes of winning the coveted first place award.
Bennett Cup winners from last year, Tate Bradford and Kassidy Veibell vocal winners, will perform, as will Kevin Payne on the piano; Bethany Jensen, instrumental and Kristy Knapp on the strings.
