The face of downtown Preston is changing with many buildings empty for the first time in several years.
“For Rent” signs seem to be popping up everywhere along Preston’s main drag.
New York Deli is moving across the street. Soon Groll’s will have two for-rent signs in front of their fitness center on North State. There is already one posted at the fudge shop, adjacent to the Deli.
Others on the list of businesses who have left State Street or plan to leave are Travis Chase Insurance, Pay Day Loans, Cornerstone Reality and True Value Mart. North of Oneida Street, Clair Bosen has space in his office building.
