It has been a wild and crazy past few days at the Idaho Legislature, according to Rep. Marc Gibbs, with three proposed bills taking the majority of the time.
One of the bills Franklin County residents will surely hear about is Senate Bill 1337, which has been labeled as the “Ag Gag” bill, according to Gibbs.
“This bill protects agricultural interests from ‘undercovers or spies’ who trespass on private property or use employment for fraudulent purposes. Another controversial bill is SB1254. It is the bill that will allow college students over 21, with an enhanced concealed carry permit, to carry a concealed weapon on college campuses,” he said.
“The third is HB 470, the Wolf Depredation Control Bill.”
