The Preston boys’ basketball team extended its winning streak to seven with wins over Rigby and Marsh Valley last week. The Indians are now 11-4 on the season.
Next up will be a trip to Bonneville this Wednesday. The Indians will host Century on Friday. Varsity will start at 7:30 p.m.
Bonneville and Century are the top teams in the district and the Indians look forward to the challenge.
“It’s a huge week,” said coach Tyler Jones of the upcoming games. “We have some great basketball coming up. I like the way we are playing and our confidence (is high). We are playing better together. It will be fun to watch.”
Last Friday Preston travelled to Marsh Valley, where they got off to a slow start. But a 5-4 deficit in the first quarter soon became a 19-5 lead and the Indians went on to beat the non-conference Eagles 70-38.
