There were about 15 entries in the Citizen’s annual college big game Bowl Picks contest this year. Of those, Ryan Wright of Franklin rolled to the win.
Wright correctly picked 22 of the 35 games, including the BCS National Championship with a Florida State win. Coming in second was Jed Webster of Madera, Calif., with 20 correct predictions out of 35. He also had Florida State winning the title game.
Glen Jepsen flew into third place with 19 correct predictions. He and three other contestants, Dennis Webster of Preston, Roger Wright of Franklin and Brian Webster of Wellsville, were tied, but Dennis Webster took third based on guessing closest to the actual score.
Watch for the Citizen’s Super Bowl picks contest coming next week.
