A book is in the works, which will feature a photographic history of Preston.

The book is being published by Arcadia Publishing and written and compiled by Necia Seamons, Claudia Erickson and Myrna Fuller.

The book is expected to be available late next year.

“We encourage anyone with Preston roots to check their collections of family photographs to see if any reveal life as it was lived in the early days of Preston City.

“Your cooperation will make this book a local treasure,” said Seamons, “…and will be greatly appreciated,” said Erickson.

Persons with photos of early Preston history are invited to contact Seamons, Erickson or Fuller.

They can be reached at the following numbers: Seamons at 208-852-1837, Erickson at 208-852-1898, or Fuller at 208-852-3177.
