The Indian girls had a good night at home against Malad on Saturday, Dec. 21, but shot poorly against Bonneville on Tuesday, Dec. 17, on the road.

FRANKLIN COUNTY NEWYEAR 3X10

The result was a split week with a 53-31 win over the Dragons and a 43-19 loss to Bonneville.

The team will play one more game on Saturday, Dec. 28, at home against Soda Springs before taking a short break.

The Indians led by just three (7-4) at the end of the first quarter, but they really came alive in the second. They outscored the Dragons 20-4 and took a 27-8 lead to the locker room.

“We talked about playing the game we like to play,” said coach Belinda Taylor. “We were over-thinking everything. We were giving up opportunities to score. Tonight we focused on playing basketball and loving what we’re doing.”
