At American Falls, West Side showed great improvement playing as a team. Sophomore Mattie Creager led the scoring for the Pirates with 10 points and Ally Lemmon scored eight. Despite their teamwork, the Pirates lost several opportunities to score at the foul line. The Pirates shot 19 foul shots and made only three, all by senior Stephanie Davis. Had more of those shots dropped, the game would have been much closer.
