PHS girls struggle against Century, Burley Bobcats

The Indian girls played at home last week against Burley and Century and lost both games.

The opposing teams took full advantage of Preston’s slow start in both games and the Indians were unable to overcome the early deficit.

Preston will host Pocatello on Wednesday, Dec. 11, before traveling to Bear Lake on Thursday, Dec. 12 and Bonneville on Tuesday, Dec. 17. All three games begin at 7:30 p.m. for varsity and 6 p.m. for JV.

Freshmen will play Pocatello and Bonneville at 6 p.m. and Bear Lake at 4:30 p.m.

The girls’ district opener against Century on Dec. 5 proved to be an exercise in frustration for everyone, but not because the team didn’t play well. In fact it was just the opposite.
