The books were purchased with funds provided by her friends of the community and colleagues at Preston School District. She taught at the Jefferson, junior high and for years she taught seniors at Preston High School, making a difference in their lives.

Left to right, Tamara Sessions, Junior High Librarian, Tina Stewart and Claudia Erickson donated books in memory of Karla Geddes Cattani. Family, friends and colleagues of Cattani have established a scholarship fund in her name.
