Preston’s FFA Soil and Land judging team took fifth place recently in state competition, among 18 teams from across Idaho.
Advisor Larin Crossley said prior to the state competition, the team competed at a district event in Bear Lake where it took first. That win qualified the team for state, according to Crossley.
“Rebecca Smith placed first-high individual and Kendal May was second-high for the district. Lottie Roberts led the team at state by placing fourth-high individual out of 90 participants who competed in Burley,” said Crossley. Other team members included Devin Pearce and Brenden Gleed.
