The Candlelight dinner will be held at the Robinson building this Saturday. Nov. 9, with two seatings. The first is at 6 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m. Tickets will be $15 a plate.
The Festival Candlelight dinner and auction is traditionally the major fundraiser for the event. The money is used to update the city’s lights for decorating trees along State Street and other displays.
Merchants from all over the valley have donated items for the silent auction.
The Community Orchestra and Sagebrush Strings, directed by Anna Gray, will provide the music.
We have been sold out the last two years and I’m expecting to be sold out again this year, Tiffany Jeppsen said.
“Heather Keller has been a big help on getting things ready for the dinner,” Jeppsen said.
Tina Ross will be decorating the Robinson building and the Festival of Lights Committee and other volunteers will be serving the food.
Tickets can be purchased at Stokes MarketPlace and the Preston City offices. Seating is limited. You may want to buy them early, Jeppsen said.
