Preston travelled to Rigby on Thursday where Rigby won three out of four volleyball matches.
“It was a contest we were hoping to win,” said coach Bridgett Knapp. “They out-worked us on defense. We usually play tough defense, but tonight we just got caught not ready to play.
“Offensively we had some strong hits by Alexa VanVleet. Also with the help of Olivia Seamons, Alexa had some great blocks. Our blocking overall looked good. The third game we came out with the energy were missing in the first two and were able to win.”
Preston hosted Bonneville on Tuesday, Oct. 15, in an important game.
“We are hoping everything we have worked on can come together,” said Knapp before the game. “Bonneville is strong and we know we will have to come together to be able compete with a team like the Bees.”
The district tournament will begin on Monday, Oct. 21.
