The West Side cross country team traveled to Plymouth, Utah, on Wednesday to run at a meet hosted by Bear River.

WILLOW VALLEY 5X7.5

The course was on a golf course and it featured several large and steep hills. This did not seem to be a problem for Pirate runners, though, as they returned to the finish line with great times.

Carlton Baird won the meet with a time of 17:19 and Ethan Porter wasn’t far behind with a time of 17:58. The rest of the boys’ team also did well. Coach Grimm said, “For a very hilly course, the boys did exceptionally well over all.”
