The Preston boys tied Century 1-1 this time around. Last Thursday, Sept. 19, at Century the Indians let one slip by near the 17-minute mark forcing them to play catch up.
It wasn’t until late in the second half that Preston was able to equalize the score. A long corner kick was settled by Jorge Sanchez and then headed in by Dalton Lloyd.
“The last 13 minutes, I felt like we really dominated and controlled the game from that point on,” coach Robert Bowles said. “I think it gave us a lot of confidence….to see we can control a game against Century.”
Four saves by Ethan White and excellent defense by Jace Johnson and Adam Stocks were key to keeping Preston in the game.
