Preston Cross Country runners continue their quest to shave off time in races.
And the quest to increase pack solidarity and speed also continues.
Preston saw an increased competitive field at the Tiger-Grizz Invitational, held at Freeman Park in Idaho Falls on Sept. 13.
Since this course is the site for this year’s state race, additional schools came to scout out the lay of the land.
Preston harriers next competed at the massive Bob Firman Invitational, held at Eagle Island on Saturday.
Races showcased runners from Idaho, Utah, Washington, California, Wyoming and Nevada.
The Preston women’s team finished second out of 20 teams in the Division II Varsity race.
The Preston men’s team finished eighth out of 27 teams in the Division II Varsity race.
