Preston’s second-year head football coach Nick Hyde said he hope to use a balanced attack this Friday against the Bear River Bears and use whatever weapons he has to compete in the Indians’ opening game of the season in Garland.
The Bears are coming off of a 42-20 win over North Sanpete last Friday.
“We started two-a-day practices on Aug. 12 and things are starting to gel for us,” said Hyde. “ I’m generally pleased with our practices. Things slowed down a couple of days last week with the start of school, but have picked up since then. I think we’ll be ready for the season to start and we’re excited to finally get underway.”
“The players have picked up on offense and defense really well so far. I’m sure we’ll improve as the season progresses.
