Glenn Beck, a nationally known personality and author, is coming to the Worm Creek Opera House on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.m. as a fundraiser for the Franklin County Theatre Arts Council.
“He came to the theater and watched a movie a few weeks ago, before the digital upgrade,” council member Paul Swainston said Friday afternoon. “He offered to help us with a fundraiser.”
The two worked out the details and set the date.
Beck recently purchased a residence in the Weston area and periodically can be seen in the surrounding communities.
All proceeds will go to the Worm Creek Opera House. Beck has agreed to do a question and answer time.
