FCHS should start school by end of this week

Students attending Franklin County High School will be meeting in the Idaho National Guard Armory, 594 N. State in Preston, as early as the end of this week if arrangements can be finalized.

Preston School Superintendent Joel Wilson said officials were working on the transition last week.

“Ken Gifford (FCHS Principal) and secretary Marie Russom met with the National Guard last Thursday to begin the process of moving back into the armory,” Wilson said. “We hope to be in with students by the end of the week. We are grateful to the National Guard for accommodating us.”
