Harold B. Lee Elementary will be adding new mini iPads to their classrooms this year after receiving a grant from Monsanto Fund.
The iPads will be used in math courses.
“Harold B. Lee Elementary is excited to add new mini iPads to their school,” Harold B. Lee Elementary Principal Melinda Royer said.
“This was made possible from the $4,500 grant they received from Monsanto.”
The iPads will be used to help teach children technology and mathematical principles.
“With the use of the iPads, the school hopes to train students in grades K-5 to successfully take the new statewide Smarter Balance Assessment in math, which requires students to interact with technology as they create, apply and evaluate various mathematical concepts,” Royer said.
