“No Excuses, No Regrets: The Eric Weddle Story” is about San Diego Chargers safety Eric Weddle’s accomplishments both on and off the football field. Recruited to University of Utah, Weddle made playing in the NFL a dream to a reality through hard work, faith and determination. Weddle signed a five-year, $40 million contract in 2007.

Toone became interested in Weddle after learning that he was a convert to the LDS church in 2004. After writing a 2,000 word story in the Deseret News about Weddle’s conversion on March 24, 2010, Toone received feedback like he had never received. After letters, emails and phone calls started to pile up, Toone knew he had found something special.
