Franklin County Medical Center is proud of their Junior Volunteer program. Scholarships of $100 were awarded to Aubrey Barney and Taylor Panter who have served in the organization for several years, while volunteering hundreds of hours in that capacity.
Volunteers are aged 14 – 18 years and give service in the Transitional Care during the Bingo and Bunco games. They also help with the women’s manicures, read, visit and entertain the residents. Another part of the program involves helping at the various FCMC events and putting together handouts for the events. Currently serving as JV President is Kelli Alvey, with Vice President, Abbey Olsen.
