On Wednesday, June 19, at approximately 6 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle injury crash near Preston.
A 17-year-old female from Preston was driving northbound on South State Street, four miles north of the Utah border in a 2000 GMC Jimmy when she went off the road.
The driver overcorrected and rolled. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken by air ambulance to the Portneuf Medical Center.
This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police and no additional details or the driver’s name has been released.
