Alice in Wonderland, Jr. coming to Worm Creek

The Franklin County Theatre Arts Council is featuring Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, Jr. at the Worm Creek Opera House from June 26 to July 1, 2013.

The play is fast-paced. Over 130 children auditioned for the musical. The directors decided to split the children into three different casts.

Cast one is for children age 6-9, and introduces Tatem Woodward as Alice. This cast will perform Wednesday, June 26 at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, June 29, at the 2 p.m. performance.

Cast two is the 10-12 year olds. Gracie Jeppsen is showcased as Alice and this cast performs Thursday, June 27, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 29, at the 7 p.m. evening performance.

The third cast, 13-15 year olds, features Paige Smith as Alice. They perform on June 28 at 7 p.m. and on Monday July 1, at 7 p.m.

Judy Ludlow, Cecelie Costley and Katie Smith are co-directors, with Julia Seare helping with music. Sarah Bartholomew is the stage manager. Tickets are available from cast members, True Value and at Stokes MarketPlace.
