This is Paskett’s first management role for ALCO, which is based in Abalene, Ks. The company has between 300-400 department-type stores in smaller communities.

Paskett is not new to the retail game. He previously worked at Home Depot in Logan and started there in 2001. Prior to that he worked for 10 years at Albertsons.

He said he is well acquainted with Preston and enjoys the community and all its special events like the rodeo, fair and Festival of Lights.

Shane Paskett stepped into the role as manager of ALCO’s Preston store on Memorial Day. Paskett has more than 20 years of retail experience and said he is pleased to be in Preston.
