“We received $6,627 from Monsanto and got another $750 grant from Nucor. The funding will help defray the expenses of building a new greenhouse, which will cost about $11,000. We have talked about this possibility for some time now,” said Josh Evans, horticultural instructor in the ag department.

“The school district will make up the difference in the cost. We also have some federal dollars we can use for equipment.”
