With the arrival of spring after a long, hard winter, there seems to be a revival of interest in more outside endeavors, possibly including the construction of new homes.

In Preston, a city official said three homes are under construction near the golf course. In addition, work is expected to begin on a new O’Reilly Auto Parts store going up on South State Street.
