The “Rockin’ Expo” being staged by Franklin County Medical Center and many community partners is Saturday, April 27, 8 a.m.-noon in the Preston High School old gym. Admission is free.
Organizer Tracie Jensen promises there should be information and activities of interest to every age group and need, ranging from a bounce house upstairs at the kids sock hop, to the new “Just for Men” area, and lots more.
Other activities and booths include: poison prevention, a fish pond, summer safety blast off, Spongee the Clown and Kids Count, among others.
Life Flight will land across from the high school at 9:30 a.m. and give “cool copter tours,” she said. Kids can also have their fingerprints taken at the Preston Police Department booth. As always, kids are also reminded to bring their stuffed animals for care and attention at the Teddy Bear Med. It will be open from 10 a.m. until noon. Health occupation and Key Club students from Preston High School will be staffing that area.
