There could be a bit of dust flying at the nearly 85-year-old Franklin County Medical Center, starting late this summer.
That’s because its expected construction project bids will be let by July, at the latest, for work that could include a remodeled or expanded emergency room, more labor and delivery rooms, as well as remodeling to the hospital front entry, among other things.
“The architect says it will take three to four months to complete detailed schematics before we can bid it out,” Hospital Administrator Mike Andrus told The Citizen. Pete Anderson of Myers and Anderson Architects, Pocatello, has been retained to design the remodeling project.
