The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced two new missions in Idaho on Friday in addition to 56 others worldwide, bringing the total to 405 across the globe.
Dax Keller, president of the Preston North Stake, said there were two missions in Idaho already, one in Boise and another in Pocatello.
“They added a mission in Nampa and another in Twin Falls, making four missions in the state. That is tremendous,” he said. “It’s pretty neat that we would get two of the 58 new missions in the world right here in Idaho. That shows you what is going on in our state.”
