In their board meeting Wednesday they also wished him well as Preston’s Police Chief.

Superintendent Joel Wilson said the trustees are working with Sheriff Dave Fryer to fill Geddes’ position.

The district is in the process of searching for a part-time principal for the SEI Tech Charter School. The school will focus on professional and technical training, culminating with a professional certificate. Wilson said the position is open to anyone who has the correct qualifications. The charter school will be for students who want to opt for that kind of education.
